I thought this book was pretty fantastic. Not only is it written by a hereditary practitioner and BIPOC, but it gives a ton of introductory-level information to a lot of the basics. The book covers everything from meditation, grounding, raising energy, manifestation, intuition, the moon cycle, the seasons and the Wheel of the Year holidays, journal and a comparison of a Book of Shadows to a grimoire, altars, ancestor veneration, cleansing and protection, herbal magick and Green witchery, spell making, eco-friendliness, and cultural appropriation. Nothing is super in-depth, but the information that's there is explained thoroughly and easily. This book is absolutely fantastic for those brand new to witchcraft. Even if you're not a beginner this book is worth it for the plethora of spells and rituals in the book.

The only complaint I really had is that the book leans a little more towards Wiccan ideology and perspective than regular witchcraft, but not nearly as much as other books do.

I will definitely be buying a physical copy of this book to support the author and to have on-hand for myself and possibly to pass down.
