A wonderful, highly recommended, read

This is one of the best books I have every read. It is sad, funny, moving, exciting and thought-provoking. As a detective story it is gripping, with an unexpected ending. At the same time, it raises serious questions about life and death, pain, suffering, and caring for vulnerable members of the society.
