Summary:
Max leaves his small farming village for Johannesburg, hoping to become a doctor. Accompanying Max is Mona, the sacred village goat, mistakenly sent to be sacrificed at a wedding in a nearby township. Failing to deliver Mona, Max arrives at the school but is unable to stay there with a goat. In desperation, Max seeks out his crooked uncle Norman.
